Meal Planning
Plan your weekly meals, browse recipes, and add recipe ingredients to your grocery list.
Overview
Grocery Savvy's meal planning tools help you organize meals for the week and choose recipes from the Grocery Savvy recipe library. When you are ready, you can add ingredients from a recipe to your grocery list.
Setting Up Your Meal Plan
- Navigate to the Meals tab.
- Tap on a day and meal slot (e.g., Monday → Dinner).
- Search for a recipe or browse from the Grocery Savvy recipe library.
- Repeat for each meal you want to plan.
Working with Recipes
Adding Recipes
- Browse the Grocery Savvy recipe library.
- Search for recipes by name or keywords.
- Save recipes to revisit them later.
Recipe Details
Each recipe includes:
- Ingredient list with quantities
- Step-by-step cooking instructions
- Nutritional information per serving
- Estimated prep and cook time
- Serving size information
Add Ingredients to Your Grocery List
From a recipe, tap Add Ingredients to add items to your grocery list.
You can choose:
- Add all ingredients from the recipe
- Add only selected ingredients to your grocery list
This gives you control over what gets added while you plan your meals.
