You can request deletion of your Grocery Savvy account and all associated data at any time — no need to reinstall or open the app.
How to Request Deletion
Complete the form below to submit your account deletion request. If you can still access the app, you can delete immediately from Privacy > Delete All My Data.
What We Delete
When your account deletion request is processed, the following data is permanently and irreversibly removed from our systems:
Account & Authentication: Your login credentials, email address, and authentication tokens.
Profile & Preferences: Display name, dietary preferences, allergies, health goals, nutrient preferences, and related profile settings.
Grocery Lists & Meal Plans: All grocery lists, list items, and meal plans saved in your account.
Favorites & Custom Items: Saved favorite foods/recipes and user-created custom food items.
Subscription Snapshot in Profile: Subscription status and plan metadata stored on your account profile.
What We Retain and Why
For legal, billing, and security reasons, we may retain limited records after your account has been deleted:
Billing and Transaction Metadata — Purchase and subscription records handled by app stores and payment processors for tax, accounting, and fraud-prevention obligations.
Retained for Per store and legal requirementsSecurity Event Logs — Minimal server-side security telemetry used to detect abuse and protect accounts.
Retained for Limited period (typically up to 60 days)Deletion Audit Records — Minimal records confirming that a deletion request was received and processed.
Retained for Limited period (typically up to 30 days)Legal Compliance Records — Information we are legally obligated to retain or need to resolve legal disputes.
Retained for As required by law
Subscriptions and Billing
Important: Deleting your Grocery Savvy account does not automatically cancel your subscription. You must cancel separately through the App Store or Google Play to avoid future charges.

Processing Timeline
Here's what happens after you submit a web deletion request. If you can still sign in, you can also delete immediately in the app from Privacy > Delete All My Data.
Request Received
Your request has been received and is queued for processing.
Ownership Verification (1-2 business days)
We verify that you own the account. You may receive a follow-up email to confirm the request.
Web Request Processed (up to 7 business days)
After verification, we process the request and delete the account data covered on this page.
Request Complete
Your account and associated data have been permanently deleted as described on this page.
